A map for Death?

” A Map for Death?

We enjoy birthdays, but they also remind us that none of us is getting younger! Sadly, every funeral reminds us: We too will go where we have never been before. The Bible treats death as the reality it is.

“Death is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart.”. (Ecclesiastes 7:2)

“Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.”. (Hebrews 9:27)

“You do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a while and then vanishes.” (James 4:14)

How quickly this one, brief life passes. To ruin it by choosing a wrong direction would be a terrible waste. Yet how can we be sure of life’s true purpose and direction? How can we be certain that
we have made the proper preparation for what lies beyond death? Many
people believe that there is a Map to guide us safely through life and death — The Bible

Disabilities

A “poor” person is someone who’s unable to change
their life; passively accepting what people and
society impose upon them, unaware that they are
the master of their own destiny.
A “fool” is someone who is unable to be happy with
what they have.
A “blind” person is someone who doesn’t see their
neighbor dying from the cold, hunger or poverty
because they only have eyes for their own
insignificant problems and afflictions.
A “deaf” person is someone who doesn’t have time
to hear a friend’s burdens or a brother’s plea.
They’re always busy, working in order to ensure
their pay at the end of the month.
A “mute” is someone who can’t express their
feelings and hides behind a mask of hypocrisy.
A “paralytic” is someone who doesn’t walk towards
those who need their help.
A “diabetic” is someone who doesn’t know how to
be sweet.
A “dwarf” is someone who doesn’t let love grow.
And finally, the worst disability of all is misery,
because:
“Miserable” people are unable to speak with God.
“Friendship is a love that never dies.”
Stay Blessed
