Moment of Silence

The truth is that at a certain point in life, we will want attention and we will want to be heard. There is that cry from within, one that sometimes words cannot express. A strong desire to be heard and a need for answers, a solution or a way out. What makes this moment of time sometimes unbearable is that everyone seems busy, each one caught up in their own business. Who is there to hear you, to listen and talk to you? Who will guide and direct you, or hold your hand?

Well, the answer may be even closer to you than you think:
Silence… yes silence.

It is usually in the silent and quiet moments that we tend to reason more, think, analyze and have time to make good judgements. Also, this usually has an effect on those who are around and close to us that they begin to wonder what’s going on in our lives.

The Holy One Himself says, “In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15) A moment of withdrawal from everything and everyone takes us into another realm, a place where we discover ourselves and also get to discover the Creator and as well even get to find sometimes the root of the problem. This scripture above was an invitation by God for his people to take time to take a moment of silence and listen to His voice, for you can’t hear much when you are talking, and their strength would come from knowing that He is ready to help them.

When we take a moment of silence for our lost loved ones, there are reflections of them in our mind. A moment filled with emotion i should say. It’s as if we are bringing them back with our lives and at times we hear their voice speaking in our inner being. Our God wants to give you reflections as well, of what He did in the past and give you guidance for the future.

Whatever you may be passing through now and wherever you may be, take a moment of silence, lift up your thoughts to God, and He will strengthen you.

Stay Blessed.

How great is God?

A young boy once turned to his dad and asked, …” Dad how great is God?” His dad pointed up to the sky and spotting an airplane from a distance asked his son; “My son, how big is that airplane?” The young boy answered, considering the distance it looks very small from down here. Immediately his dad took him for a ride at the local airport and spotting one of the many airplanes on the runway asked the same question; “My son, how big is that airplane?” His son said, dad now I see how big it is, It is far bigger than I first thought. Then his father said, my son as to how great God is it all depends on how close to Him you choose to live your life.

“For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care”. Psalm 95:3-7

Think about it

Heavy rains remind us of challenges in life. Never ask for a lighter rain.
Just pray for a better umbrella. – That is attitude.
When flood comes, fish eat ants and when flood recedes, ants eat fish. – Only time matters. Just hold on, God gives opportunity to everyone!
Life is not about finding the right person, but creating the right relationship, it’s not how we care in the beginning, but how much we care till the very end.
Some people always throw stones in your path. It depends on what you make with them. A Wall or a Bridge? – Remember you are the architect of your life.
Search for a beautiful heart, but don’t search for a beautiful face. Because beautiful things are not always good, but good things are always beautiful.
It’s not important to hold all the good cards in life. But it’s important how well you play with the cards you hold.
Often when we lose all hope & think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, ‘relax dear it’s just a bend, not the end.’ – Have faith and have a successful life.
One of the basic differences between God and humans is, God gives, gives and forgives. But the human gets, gets, gets and forgets.
